TCM diet medication recipe
In order to support our body for the cold winter, slow-cooked Chicken Soup may be the best meal for us. Chinese Chicken Soup is not only delicious, but also nutritious. You can add Chinaturel's ready-packet of herbs, available at Chinaturel, which makes it even more easy to prepare this tasty soup:
Ingredients:
- 2L of water
- 1 fresh large chicken (preferably organic)
- 1 teaspoons of salt
- 1 ready-packet of herbs OR;
- 5 cm chunk of fresh ginger
- 10 cm chunk of green onion
Method:
- Boil the water in a large pot
- In the meantime, soak the herbs,
- When the water boils, add the herbs to the pot . Rinse the chicken and add to the stockpot
- Add 1 teaspoons of salt
- Simmer for 2 hours
- Remove fresh ginger and green onion;
- Enjoy your warm soup
Notes:
According to your likings you can also add extra ingredients to the soup, such as carrots and mushroom.
